Mourning

I created this sketch while I was waiting in the doctor's office - my least favorite place to be (I still haven't gotten over my fear of the doctor, I spent most of my childhood in and out of hospitals)...I imagined something soothing and this is what came up.

The day after I drew this, I found out that my friends dog, Latte, had passed away. She was a dear friend and the first animal I had ever lost. I didn't grow up with pets. I spent a lot of time with Latte and will always have a special place in my heart for her. Love you little girl...
