Molly Hahn graduated UC Santa Barbara in 2005 with a B.A. in the Cultural and Ideological Studies of Europe. While learning to speak French and German, she also drew comics and editorial cartoons at the student-run newspaper, The Daily Nexus.

Her job as a cartoonist and well-rounded education served as the launching pad for her illustration career.
